1. About Spotless Score

Spotless Score is a hotel discovery, rating and review platform designed to help travellers compare accommodation based on cleanliness and other criteria.

Spotless Score does not necessarily own, operate or manage the hotels listed on the platform.

Hotel information may come from third-party data providers and may change over time.

2. Hotel Rankings and Scores

Spotless Score provides hotel scores and rankings based on information available to the platform, including user-generated ratings and reviews.

Cleanliness is a primary factor in our ranking system, with other criteria potentially including comfort, location and facilities.

Scores are intended to help travellers compare hotels and should not be considered a guarantee of the actual condition of a hotel.

Hotel conditions can change, and individual experiences may differ.

We do not guarantee that a hotel will meet a particular cleanliness standard or that information provided about a hotel will always be complete, accurate or current.

3. User Accounts

Some features, including submitting reviews, may require you to create an account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your login details secure
• Maintain only accounts that you are authorised to use
• Notify us of unauthorised access
• Not impersonate another person

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used abusively.

4. Reviews and Ratings

We want Spotless Score reviews to reflect genuine traveller experiences.

When submitting a review, you agree that:

• Your review represents your genuine experience or opinion
• You will not knowingly provide false or misleading information
• You will not submit multiple reviews for the same stay unless explicitly permitted
• You will not manipulate ratings
• You will not submit reviews in exchange for undisclosed payment or incentives
• You will not impersonate another traveller
• You will not use offensive, threatening, discriminatory or unlawful content
• You will not include unnecessary personal information about other people

We reserve the right to remove, edit, restrict or investigate reviews that appear to violate these Terms.

5. Review Moderation

Spotless Score may use automated systems and/or human moderation to identify suspicious, fraudulent, abusive or otherwise inappropriate reviews.

We may consider factors such as unusual review activity, duplicate submissions, account behaviour and other signals when assessing reviews.

A review may be removed or excluded from rankings where we reasonably believe it does not represent a genuine or appropriate contribution.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Spotless Score.

By submitting a review, rating, photograph or other content, you grant Spotless Score a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, distribute and adapt that content for operating, promoting and improving the Spotless Score platform.

You confirm that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not infringe another person’s rights.

7. Prohibited Use

You must not use Spotless Score to:

• Commit fraud
• Manipulate hotel scores or rankings
• Create fake accounts or reviews
• Scrape or copy our content without permission
• Introduce malware or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Interfere with the operation of the website
• Use the platform for unlawful purposes

8. Third-Party Links and Services

Spotless Score may contain links to third-party websites, including hotel, travel or booking providers.

We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, policies or services of third-party websites.

If you make a booking through a third-party provider, your relationship with that provider is governed by its own terms and conditions.

9. Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information, but hotel information, prices, facilities, availability and other details may change.

We do not guarantee that all information displayed on Spotless Score is accurate, complete or up to date at all times.

10. Availability of the Platform

We aim to keep Spotless Score available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the platform when necessary.

11. Intellectual Property

The Spotless Score name, branding, logo, website design, original content, software and other materials created by Spotless Score are owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied, reproduced or commercially exploited without permission.

User reviews and other user-generated content remain subject to the licence described above.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Spotless Score will not be responsible for losses arising from:

• Reliance on hotel scores or reviews
• Differences between information displayed online and conditions at a hotel
• Third-party hotel or booking services
• Temporary website interruptions
• User-generated content

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be posted on this page and the “Last updated” date will be changed.

Continued use of Spotless Score after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, where legally permitted.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
